1. What is Bola?
Bola is an easy-to-play online football game where you can manage your team, play matches and challenge your friends.
2. What are the different Game Modes?
Practice Mode: here you will learn the basics to play Bola and learn new moves as they become available.
Career Mode: You will play tournaments against AI teams to build your professional career as a team. You can do this at your own pace, but you have to win the current tournament to be able to access the next one.
Social Mode: this is where you can challenge your friends to play against you (or invite those who are not playing Bola yet). You will have alerts that will tell you when you have pending matches.
3. How do I level up?
You’ll need to reach a certain number of fans to move on to the next level. You will have more fans every time you upgrade your stadium or play games.
4. How can I get more fans?
You will attract people to become your team’s fans, by playing games, upgrading your stadium (fans like cool stadiums!) and buying stuff for your current fans (coming soon).
5. How can I challenge a friend?
If you want to challenge a friend, you have to click on the "PLAY" button at the bottom left corner of the screen and choose "Social Matches". Once there, you can choose which friend you want to challenge. If you don't have any friends playing Bola, you can invite them or challenge someone at the "World" tab.
6. How can I earn in game currency and what can I do with it?
There are two currencies in Bola:
- Bollars: you can earn Bollars by playing matches, selling tickets to the games and being sponsored by brands. With Bollars you will be able to buy everything you need to grow your stadium and upgrade your players.
- Melon Cash: you can only have Melon Cash by buying it with real money. You will use this currency to buy exclusive items that will differentiate you from the rest of the teams.
7. How can I know how my team compares to those of my friends?
There’s a leaderboard at the bottom of the screen that ranks teams according to their number of fans. Or you can go to the Museum and check out all your team’s historic data.
8. When will the areas with the "coming soon" sign be unlocked?
These areas will begin to become available over time as the game progresses. Bola is a live ongoing experience, so you can expect new updates all the time. 9. My game is not loading, I can't play! How can I solve this?
Try our troubleshooting! It has helped most users experiencing loading issues. If it doesn't help you either, please post the description of your problem here, and will try to help you asap.
1. Administration
The administration is the place where you can select your team’s identity (choose it’s name and colors) and sign a contract with a sponsor.
2. How do Sponsor Deals work?
When you sign a contract with a sponsor it lasts for one week, and pays you Bollars every day you come back to play for as long as the contract lasts. When it expires you can sign again with the same sponsor or close a deal with another one.
3. Stadium
This is your team’s stadium. Here you can buy parts to increase its capacity, so that you can sell more tickets (and make more money) every time you play a game. You will also be able to customize the way it looks (stadium parts and grass cuts) and add decorations to make it unique
You will also see how your stadium is measuring in all the stats: value (monetary value of your stadium), luxury and capacity.
4. Team
These are your players' Headquarters. Here you will select your team’s formation for each match (in case you want to change it) and view each player’s stats (defense, skill, strength, speed, reaction,attack). You can also hire a Coach to change your team's formation strategy and give a boost to your players' skills.
5. Museum
At the Museum you can see the historic data of all the games your team has played. You can filter this information by friend, date or result. Here's the evidence to prove who's the best!
6. Gym
At the Gym you can buy upgrades to boost your players' skills. They last for 48 hours and you can give up to three upgrades to each player, so use them wisely!
1. What happens if someone doesn't answer my challenge?
If someone doesn't answer your challenge before it expires, they lose their side of the game by 3-0 for W.O. The same happens if you don't answer a challenge sent to you before it expires.
2. How do challenges work?
Before each match you will see a screen that will show the information of the two playing teams’ names, colors, and how much money you will earn for playing the match. Then you hit Play and that’s it, the game is on!
After the game ends you will see a screen showing the results and some highlights of the game. You will also be able to post a message to your wall (on Facebook) if you want to show off your victory or ask for revenge!
3. I have no one else to challenge, what do I do now?
Once you send a challenge, the person being challenged has one week to play before the challenge expires. So you have to wait seven days until you can challenge the same person again, if he or she don't play back. If they do, once the challenge is over you can challenge them again. If you run out of people to challenge you can invite new friends or wait for the sent challenges to expire.
4. How will I know the final result of the challenges I send?
Every time you come back to Bola, and activity happened while you were not playing, you will be prompted with a pop up that will let you know about everything that happened while you were gone, such as how many won/tied/lost games and against whom those games were.
5. What is luxury for?
Your team is still small and growing as you build your stadium you will be able to add more and more items to it in order to make the fans happy and get them to pay higher tickets.
